DESCRIPTION

The GreenLife Society is a public policy think-tank which focuses on the efficacy of international environmental treaty regimes. We concentrate on regimes which are intended to protect flora and fauna species, with a particular emphasis on marine species. GLSNA has observer status with the International Whaling Commission and is a member of the Marine Fish Conservation Network.

SERVICE AND ACTIVITIES

1. Preparation of educational materials for the general public, both adults and students on topics including coral reefs, sharks and whaling; 2. Maintenance of a web page which provides research resources, including bibliographies and guides to other sites of interest to researchers; 3. Lobbying on behalf of legislation at the domestic and international level which will further our mission; 4. Publication of IELPOPS, the International Environmental Law & Policy Occasional Paper Series.
