DESCRIPTION

To serve as a center for stimulation and promotion of interdisciplinary research, graduate education, and public education related to understanding, protecting, utilizing, and sustaining the natural environment.

SERVICE AND ACTIVITIES

• support initiation and continuation of innovative water research projects via internal grants program
• act as a resource for information on water research activities and funding opportunities
• produce newsletter on activities of Institute
• provide access to technical reports and research brief generated by Institute sponsored research.

AREA OF CONCENTRATION

Water quality and quantity management, including efficiency of use, reuse, conservation, and legal economic, social, and institutional aspects of water resources management, water and wastewater engineering.
