DESCRIPTION

Academic Department in the College of Agriculture at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Our mission is to contribute to economic development statewide through research and educational activities both on and off campus for the benefit of the citizens of Nevada. The programs we offer emphasize application of econoic princples and statistical analysis to issues involving growth, infrastructure, agriculture, natural resources and the environment. We commit to work with public and private enterprises, communities, volunteers, governemnts and their agencies to identify issues and help develop solutions through generation and dissemination of economic information.

AREA OF CONCENTRATION

Water resource ecnomics, water allocation, pricing, investments in water resources, water resource use in irrigation, water use in recreation, non-market valuation.
