DESCRIPTION

True Coalition with about 12 other conservation organizations represented plus individual members. Purpose - to define and inventory natural stream valleys; to promote wise use of and/or preservation of natural stream valleys; to assist in land-use planning to the end that natural stream valleys are adequately recognized and protected to the extent interest in such land-use plans.

SERVICE AND ACTIVITIES

Currently participants in study of White Clay Creek for possible inclusion as National Wile and Scenic River (PA&DE) Lobbying efforts over past 30 years for public land acquisition in Piedmont Watersheds in Northern New Castle County, DE and Chester County, PA particularly White Clay Creek environs. Assist University of Delaware students in water related issues, impact on stream valleys.
