DESCRIPTION

ESE is a graduate program in environmental engineering and science which offers the degrees of Master of Science, Master of Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy. Our program focuses in five areas: 1) Environmental Chemistry, 2) Nuclear Environmental, 3) Contaminant Fate and Transport, 4) Process Engineering, and 5) Waste Management. Our mission is to provide a world class education in these focus areas and to conduct important research in these areas.

SERVICE AND ACTIVITIES

Two primary activities: (1) Education and (2) research. Our degree program is described above. Research is conducted in the areas described above. A broad range of funding sources is utilized to support the department's research program, including governmental, public, and private sources.
