DESCRIPTION

The American Academy of Environmental Engineers is a specialty certification board for environmental engineers that is dedicated to improving the quality of environmental engineering practice. Headquarter in Annapolis, maryland, it certifies environmental engineers of proven quality from around the world in one or more of seven specialties of environmental engineering practices. The Academy's program, unusual in the engineering profession, has been in existence for over 40 years and requires professional engineering registration as a prerequisite for certification along with at least eight years of experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering.
